a stone throne stands at the end of a space with a video camera hanging over it. four transparent materials are positioned in front of the stone chair. a video projector is placed at the other end of the space.

the viewer can sit on the chair, from which s/he can see her/his own live image projected onto the materials. when s/he turns around, s/he can see her/himself from the front, that is, a reversal from back to front.

the viewer thereby becomes the content and therefore part of the installation—s/he is simultaneously the viewer and the object. as opposed to how a mirror functions, here the viewer can never look directly at her/himself, instead s/he can only ever regard her/himself as an outsider.
